    I think the best way to be eco-friendly during parties is to use “real” plates, cups, spoons, forks, and other utensils instead of the usual disposables one is wont to use, and we do just that. Also since we have a small garden, we usually hold our parties there; we then become creative in decorating the place with twigs and flowers instead of streamers. There was one time that instead of printing a banner for the birthday greeting, we fashioned the letters out of twigs and vines which made the decorations stand out more.

    We recycle, I refill water bottles, use reusable coffee mugs instead of styrofoam, I’m going to start making my own laundry soap in order to be easier on the earth, and not use as much plastic. Tons of ways!!!

    I use real plates no paper or plastic and i recycle all drink containers, where possible we just make juice or punch. I am not a fan of confetti and balloons i would rather use flowers and natural decorations, they look nice anyways

    We have switched to greener cleaning products. Our town does curbside recycling pick up and we have a lady who picks up our cans and bottles and uses them for money for medications for local residents.

    It’s common for us to use a plate made of woven rattan, and banana leaves as liners. For cups/glasses, my mom got cheap ones at $0.2 each at the local market and we re-use that for every party we have.

    instead of printing our own tarp, we used the generic one available from the resto, they just added my little one’s name in it. i see no need for a happy birthday tarp in my house after the party so i decided against having one printed! ^_^

    true to the old and rural ways, we use banana leaves as lining to rattan plates. Very economical and pleasing to look at. Banana leaves are also biodegradable.

    I reuse old T-shirts for eco-friendly shopping bags, Turn old Jeans into comforters, I only use reusable cups, plates and silverware. I try to stay as green as possible and have taught my children the same thing so that they do not waste what they have. It helps to keep our landfills down as well.
