Eco Friendly Party Approved!
Sarah’s 11th Birthday party is an eco-Friendly Party approved! She is already an eco-conscious little hero, and her choices are made by heart and by what she believes is the right thing to do. She is still not confined to all conventional behaviors, and thank goodness for that!. And having an unconventional mother helps her too.

Step 1: Electronic Party Planning!
Sarah start planning her green celebration by joyfully accessing www.ecofriendlyparty.com, the online party planning web site. She designed her own E-invitations and uploaded her own picture, which will be the same one she will use for her cake…“so it matches,” she said. For her, this entire process was just convenient, simple and fast.
Step 2: Green Decorations!
Sarah threw a pool party where the decorations were simple, reusable-recycled tableware by Solo, and she also had a very cute cake, organic fruits and snacks all over the place! There was plenty of fresh water for the kids, which was flavored with Organic Strawberries or Organic Cucumbers, stocked full of ice!!!I should remark that no sugary drink was offered at this party, and the amazing part is that none of the guests invited asked for it.
Step 3: Green Gifts – Cash Gifts
Although years before Sarah had shared her birthday presents with charities, this year in particular she was dying to receive an I-Pad. Sarah’s request for an I-Pad for her birthday was a little too expensive for her parent to handle alone so she needed a team to make it happen. So, Sarah decided to involve her friends and let them know that she is saving for an I-Pad and that she wanted cash gifts to increase the amount of her savings. Step 4: Recycling
By using reusable plates, forks and cups, the amount of waste at Sarah’s party was minimal. There were only small food leftovers.
As a mother and eco activist I enjoyed watching my little girl embrace Eco-Friendly options in such a natural way! Planning her party electronically, using green decorations, asking for cash gifts, and recycling were the four steps that made Sarah’s Party an Eco-Friendly party approved!
